Direct European Funding
provided directly by the European Commission / Agency
Direct European Funds
they are non-repayable loans, disbursed directly by the European Commission
THE Funds Europeans Direct they are often confused with the European funds managed by the national government and by the regions, also for this reason they are little known and used.
There are over 30 direct European programs, each of which provides for a variable number of Funds with the relative ones direct European funding, there are so many that it is easy to get lost.
Therefore, some critical issues must be overcome, including language difficulties, as all information is in English and also the documentation to request activation must be prepared in English, with rare exceptions.
The "limit" of the language is easily overcome, while there are other more or less complex criticalities that lead many to give up, preferring national and regional measures, leaving out even the competitive advantage of having greater possibilities of financing, even for the minor participation.
THE
Direct European Funds
they are dynamic, since they always have deadlines within which to send the project proposal for the activation of direct European funding.
The single direct European programs can foresee several Funds and financing.
Although they are all public information, available on the portal of the European Commission, a list of all existing direct European funding is not available, with tools to identify and select them according to one's needs.
In fact, when the development of the Bagof Direct European Funds, in the last quarter of 2018, we had to measure ourselves with the criticality of not knowing what direct European funds were that could finance our projects.
We have gradually developed a methodology for the census of all the funds and direct European funding in force, starting to create and monitor the possible indices, in order to have further technical parameters on which to base decisions.
Once the limit of not knowing the available European Direct Funds has been exceeded, it is necessary to:
identify and select the loan
prepare the project and documentation
submit the project by the deadline
The activation of direct European funding is subject to the approval of the project.
Depending on the type of Direct European Fund, the documentation to be submitted may vary, with additional requirements and different methods for evaluation.
After the approval of the project, within 3 months, the contract must be signed with the European Commission or the European Agency.
The obligations to carry out the activities as indicated in the project start from the signing.
The continuous development of additional features, unfortunately, does not allow us to make them all available in English.
