Once the Direct European Fund that meets your needs has been identified, the project must be prepared and the request for activation of direct European funding must be sent to the European Commission, within the set deadline.

Each Direct European Fund, in fact, has a fixed expiry date, within which the request for activation of the European direct financing must be sent, by sending the documentation, using the official forms, which may vary according to the type of financing.

The basic documentation consists of information to be included in the online procedure and the project proposal, including the technical data sheets, relating to the activities, the personnel to be employed and the necessary costs.

Each project must be presented by a Consortium, made up of at least 3 subjects, one of which is the lead partner and the other partners, from European states or associated countries, which contribute to achieving the expected objectives, however, the required number can also be higher / lower. and in some cases there may be specific additional conditions, on the type of proposing subjects.

The lead partner must create a project consortium, therefore, it is necessary to identify at least 2 other European partners, also through the use of the European procedure to search for partner, entering your needs or selecting the available subjects.

The activation of direct European funding can take place as leader or partner, in the first case, the entire project is managed, including the economic budget to be assigned, in the second case, however, it is subject to the availability of the subject leader to enter the proposed activity.

A further method of activating direct European funding is that of recipient user of the planned activities, however, the decision for inclusion in the project is always subordinate to the lead partner and to the available budget.
